H-D Museum Webcam Tracks Progress

A new webcam will follow the progress as the Harley-Davidson museum is built.
January 22, 2007

Milwaukee, WI - A new webcam will follow the progress as the Harley-Davidson museum is built. Construction on the museum began last summer in Milwaukee, Wis., and is set to open in 2008.

The H-D Museum webcam displays new images of the construction site several times an hour and features a zoom function for close-up views. Images of the progress will be archived so viewers can observe step-by-step development.

The Harley-Davidson Museum will be located on 20 acres at the corner of Sixth and Canal streets near downtown Milwaukee. The museum will encompass 130,000 square feet and will have exhibit space, restaurant, café, retail shop, meeting space, special events facilities and will house the company’s archives. An estimated 70 full-time jobs are expected to be filled and 350,000 visitors from around the world are expected to visit the museum annually.
